Put These Kids on Barack Obama's "Death Panels"

A lamb named Marcus, raised by a group of 250 schoolchildren, aged 6-11, as part of an "educational farm," was slaughtered after a 13-1 council vote.

The council consisted of those 6-to-11-year-olds.

And the rest of the world, save those kids, are upset.

This farm thing was designed "to educate the children in all aspects of farming life and everything that implies," meaning that when the teachers read Charlotte's Web, Wilbur likely met a different fate.

The article mentions that "the intention had been to buy pigs with the money raised from slaughtering Marcus" — and then, I'm guessing, the pigs will be slaughtered to buy more sheep.
